Servers Enforcing Model Consistancy...

<div class="IPBDescription">It only happens on a few servers... why?</div> I was wondering... Does this only happen on tournament servers, or is it the model which is being used which cause the "Enforcement"? It's a server side variable, so it's up to the server owner/admins whether it's on or not..

Look at server properties in All Seeing Eye, if mp_consistency is set to "1", you can't use any custom models on that particular server, if it's "0", you can.

And yeah, most tournament servers will probably have it on.

All seeing Eye, best server browser, everyone should use it because the HL browser is rubbish and Gamespy is evil.

look for servers with MP_fileconsistency 0 then you will be all set - they are not enforcing it.

look at the thread that is posted up top of this section for info on what you can do if you have ASE as well
