I remember from a looong time ago, back when the NS website introduction was done in flash (at least flash style). The marines had a cool LMG/HMG sound. I'm just wonderin, is it possible to get that sound or was it not released due to copyright issues?

I think a really tight sound for the HMG would not be so chattery as it is now...perhaps like the machine gun that Ripley uses in "Aliens" -- not exactly that, but that semi-muffled rapid sound that kicks so much ****.

And perhaps an Uzi or some type of HK submachine gun for the LMG would make a proper sound.

Though the current sounds are not bad, by any means.

If I remember rightly the sound was a rip of the aliens pulse rifle. Im just guessing as ive seen the film numerous times (got it on DVD) and i can recognise the weapon sound anywhere.... If this is the case then im not suprised it was not released with the game!
