Cant Climb Up Ladders

whenever i try to walk straight up to a ladder to climb it, it doesnt climb it and just keeps walking. the only way i can go up a ladder is if i jump half way up it first. also when i join marines i see marines with jetpack skin but they really dont have jetpacks. i tried reinstall ns and hl and it still doesnt fix. i have win xp prof

to fix the marine jetpack thing set <b>cl_himodel 0</b>. Or you could go into "customize" and check OFF the box that says "Use High Quality Models" or whatever.

as for the ladder thing...sometimes that happens with me. were you a skulk? If so, then I don't know what to tell you but run up a nearby wall and get there. If you're something that requires you to use the ladder (Gorge, Onos, or Fade w/out blink), then you'll just have to use your jumping tactic.

the ladder thing happens with a marine too, on that one map where they have the mess hall area if you go past it and try to go through the hole in the ground its impossible for me to go under the hole and come out the other side because i cant climb up ladders, is there anyway to fix this?
