He's wondering why he gets very high pings in Natural Selection, when he pings below 200 in Counterstrike.
He'd like to know if anyone has any console commands that would allow him to get a lower ping in NS, such as changed bitrates and such.

any way i herd about netcodes in cs and i'm wondering if there is any 4 ns cause a ping of 700 makes the game non playable.

but on all seing eye it says i will get a ping of 200 on ns.

cl_cmdrate
seting over from your cs config.cfg to your ns config

Ns is much more laggy than CS anyway the lag increases the long the map is played

poison...what are your numbers for rate/updaterate/cmdrate anyway? i want to know a good setting for my 56k modem.

dunno u just have 2 fool around with the numbers and push tab every time and see if ya ping has gone up or down.

i'v been at school posten so i havent had time 2 do mine yet
