This is based on ns_warp9 which Im having logistical problems preparing for release, if this is very popular it may renew my interest in completing warp9.

    Allow me to rephrase this, because many people took it the wrong way:

    j0e: The custom map server is currently on napo b3 and since thats the default map and its the middle of the night nobody is playing there, could we change the map to mach6 for testing please? I have napo_b3 but it must be a different build or something cause your server tries to send me the one it has and I don't want to wait 30 minutes to download it.

    This map will beta updated to beta2 tomorrow night (feb 3) based on playtesting today and tonite. Don't be too overly critical of the lack of a point to the map, at this point, this is mostly a beta to see how the warp tunnels integrate with gameplay.

    I like the warp. Thx for putting out diffrent kinds of maps other than the one's that come with the game. The warp it the aliens side seemd like it had stoped me at the end and I had got stuck. This happend one time.     thank you requiem.. your nice.. you know, i dont want to be angry, its ok for me when your maps are very popular even when they are done in a few hours, but when want to kick out my map, and im working on it for 10 months (ok, there were BIG breaks) then this hurts me...

    i'm sure he didn't mean anything by it. don't worry, napo_b3 is the DEFAULT map on the server, so it will get played a lot <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> a minimum of twice a day, assuming it never crashes <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->

    You want one of your couple of hour efforts to have the servertime of a serious map that has required a lot of work? I never had a personal problem with you - your funmaps were in my opinion unwanted in NS, but that had nothing to do with you - but this one... I'm amazed how coolly Asraniel took that comment, I'd be fuming right now. Respect to him - I guess you know what you get?

    I think this map needs 2 seperate war rooms between the hive locations.
    i dont believe in the res nodes of a single war room.
    why do aliens jump not when joining the war room?
    everything else is small and funny, but has no chance against the atmosphere of a good looking detailed map.

    Heh that was strange, that comment meant nothing, the server defaults to napo b3 and no one was playing it because it was the middle of the night.

    Napo b3 is one of the good maps, I wasnt blasting it.

    Maps rooms are really way to big. Makes it extremly easy for marines to own the poor alines. The concepts is great though. Battle for a central resource area. But tighten it all up by making things smaller. Poor alines dont stand a chance.

    Or leave the room sizes the same, and fill it with structers. Boxxes or make/get made so nice models of cargo transports/lift devs.
