Using The Marine's Weapons Against Them

<div class="IPBDescription">...the use of a phase gate</div> Alright, in eclipse today i decided to go for a different style of play. So what I did is go straight to the phase gate that the marines had set up in maintenance. Then BAAAAMMM inside their main. Where I proceded to munch on their IPs, people, obs, etc; I was slaughtered eventually, but only after i got about 5 kills and raze a couple structures. So after I died I told the other people on my team to follow me and we (3 of us) went through the phase at once, we killed practically their entire base, until that ******* comm came out and killed us. I spawned again and went yet again straight for the phase gate, oh but to my surprise, maintenance had been cleanesed of the marine presence. Regardless to say we won in about 3 minutes.
I know this doesn't really sound like the most 'advanced' stategey but with co-ordination a phase gate strike might work quite well.
1) Have 2-3 skulks go through the phase and kill the phase gate at their spawn first, so the marine re-inforcements are cut off.
2) After the phase goes down, attack group two attacks whatever Hive/outpost/fire-base the skulks came from.
The confusion that this causes will hopefully allow your team to take out the marine Hive/outpost/fire-base with ease.
However there are draw backs, if the marines build turrets in their base, that can be a drag or if the phasegate in the marine base is far away from the rest of their strutures, that would allow marines that extra 1/2 second to unload on a charging skulk.
Anyway, I dub this the "Phase Gate Rush" (patent pending) and myself and my friend PrettyKitty, worked on this one.
