I think this is one of the big weaknesses for marines when they try to move their main base. If smart aliens take over the original base, they should leave any ip's intact. Then just put lots of o chambers slightly around the corner from the infantry portals. This will effectively leach away respawning marines and handicap them greatly.

In a joke game i build 9 IPs.... the comm that took over recycled 7 of them, and i dont play on modded servers.
But why recycle them, when you can just build more and play IP Russian Roulette?
