The admins here are REAL sticklers about a sig being really small in size. Your's is over 100K ....
It's also an animated .Gif, which means that when the compuserve lawyers come knocking, you won't be able to do anything, you need to give them a few e-mails, and ask them permission to use their copywirten file format...but i guess nobody told you that useing a Gif without their permission was illegal?
and no, i'm not making this up, check it out on the compuserve website, or search google for Gif restrictions....
Not all GIF files use the exact formatting Compuserv has copyrighted, I don't think. I would expect programs such as Photoshop and them would take that in to kind consideration.

Compuserv created a format for writing GIF files. They distributed it freely for years, until it was a standard. Then they started demanded remuneration for it. I doubt Adobe's going to pay for the goofy rights to write GIF files in Compuserv's format.
compuserve copyrighted the .gif capabillities, since .gif's can have movement, and transparency, they put their name on it, and made it illegal for other companies to "steal" it...AKA, they have full legal backing to come after you for "publishing" your sig (that's .gif) on the internet if you haven't checked them for permission.
this isn't a serious issue, because the number of offenses are too many, but they still do camp out on some people, like arttoday.com, they have to lisence out all their gifs from compuserve.
