    OMG KT, that roof is VERY cool! i LOVE it!

    That room looks absolutly stunning, however i think you should add a few pipes around the top, maybe one going out ten to the left, then in, an able palce for a bob to hide on top,  Seroisly though, looks GREAT.

    Pipes or some crossmembers are definatly still on the to-do list. They will be up where the hangar doesn't VIS, so that is no problem.

    I'm still contemplating having the CC get an overlook into this room. I think I can swing it, but it'll mean the CC is a rather smallish area. I'm working up some concept sketches of what the new CC area will look like, as well as considering how the new CC dynamics will effect things.

    Feedback, please:
    Should I put much effort into setting aside and styling a CC area? Should I just make sure there is a couple out-of-the-way spots near the Marine start?

    Do you think you would use a techy room for the CC, even if you could set it up anywhere else?

    i say a techy room for the CC, but you got to remember, the team is planning for a CC model, so ya know, just dont make it to done, or else you might have to remodel for the CC model. <!--emo&:p--><img src="http://www.natural-selection.org/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':p'><!--endemo-->

    Yeah, it would be nice if the devs could give us some not-to-exceed parameters for the CC model so we can plan for it a little.

    And yeah, I've heard the crack about it being under 8192x8192.

    I'd just wait until they actually release the model to worry about that. Maybe just keep a reserved space in mind while building... but I wouldn't go all out and plan/design a room yet.

    The new core additions are wonderful. Sunken floor is great.

    Looks great, kt.  I really like the roof/skylight thing.  It looks, from that one picture, like the supports kind if spiral inward on only one side.  Do the other beams follow suit?  

    (ps - don't worry about the sky)
