Armory - A Disater For Marines?

this is the millionth thread, i know... but in one of the earlier ones, someone suggested building the armory at the other end of the phase gate

armory can be good or bad. At the start of the game if u have a bunch of retarded teamates and a good comm its best to load up on ammo and take a hive by urself holding off the aliens while building a phase gate and the rest of the team can take the easy route to the hive...

however i think at the end of the game when your team can win if you get there fast enough 275 rounds REALLY isnt nessessary. its like getting all 60 rounds for a shotty when they have 1 hive and one shot kills em.
