Request
If anyone has made a nade launcher replacement, plz post link's and pics, or if you are planning to make one please let me know. The nade launcher now was originally an HMG and I personally don't like it. Well thanks in advance, also please note the search isn't working (for me at least, at this moment).

Working on it now . . .
I've always had it labeled for a major overhaul, but the big stumbling block was the ammo count-- it was up in the air for a long time, so we couldn't really attempt a very specific design (say, one with a rotating cylinder of grenades or such).
Now it looks like that's set, so once I get my butt in gear, we'll have a replacement.
i've got a replacement GL it's got some funny sounds, but i think i'll try and hunt down the files on my computer and post it on my website.... i said i wasn't going to update it, but i might as well... since i've already got it.
It just didn't look right as the launcher and I'm not a big fan of the LMG model (seems too 20th century to be in a sci-fi theme) but it actually looks pretty good as an LMG.
I'll probably try to make it look a little less dated, but I intentionally avoided a highly polished futuristic design-- the TSA is supposed to be poorly funded, so I based it off the sten (plus I like the whole side clip thing. Yes, I am aware that some people don't, so there's no need to chime in with that)-- a dirty, odd little gun that was only popular because it was ridiculously cheap to mass produce.
Probably not but I'm a big rifle fan
And I like the little story behind the LMG. How it's cheap and odd, and easily mass produced. So keep the "Old and true" design and just touch it up a bit (Please note... these are not "demands" just merely "suggestions" )
Thanks for your time,
-Sid
gee you would guess if you looked at the smily, (its the gl he's holding but its firing like an hmg)

any pics of it, yet?
Not yet . . . . I've got to hustle on it, though.

QUOTE

Funny how the texture for the GL are given the prefix hmg, and the textures for the HMG are given the prefix hmg2

Yep. Actually, a lot of the texture file names end up getting mangled because I have no coherent naming systems, and tend to save many, many versions of each psd as I work along, often just tacking on random numbers and letters. I've got to work on that.
And yeah, the scope on top of the gl is a remnant from the oicw inspiration. I had a thing for scopes during development . . .

working on uploading the GL i have to my site... pic of it is up (i think)
