Hello Subnauts!
We’re writing to you today to let you know that we have made the difficult decision to close the Unknown Worlds forums.
We want to thank you all for your support here in reporting bugs, and providing feedback on both Subnautica and Below Zero, during the course of Early Access and beyond.
Your support remains, as always, incredibly important and valuable to us, and with that in mind, we would like to invite you to continue to interact with us and the wider community on some of our more active platforms, especially
our official Discord
.
All of the content on the forums will remain available in read-only mode, but it will no longer be possible to create new topics or posts as of June 21st 2021.
We hope to welcome you all on our Discord and
other community platforms very soon
.
Keep diving,
Unknown Worlds Team.

make sure they key you are tring to use is in fact the "use key" and not the "fire key".
Pressing the use key should play no animations at all.
Once you have found the correct key, stand next to the teleport - look at it and press the use key.

I think he's talking about Blink.
To Blink effectively, crouch while jumping and aim exactly where you want to go. Practice makes perfect (or at least improved).

to expand on what Kotau said, make sure there is nothing in your path before you do it, you can only blink to places you'd be able to fit by walking there.

blink is NOT a teleport
it is an instantaneous sling shot, think of it that way
if ANY part of your model would touch ANYTHING solid, that is where you stop (SO DONT LOOK DOWN AT ALL)
best way to blink is duck+jump and look up

also, NEVER EVER blink at entities. (i.e. elevators, doors, grates, etc.)
