Voice Disable Script

Ok - I have set my voice_overdrive quite high (5!) because I hate not being able to hear anybody while there is alot of game noise... The only trouble with this is that I can hardly hear any enemies approaching when someone is talking... which gets me killed all the time... I've tried to find a compramisable middle, where I can hear both ok - but I can't - they both sounded awful...

I need a script to disable and enable everyone's voice when I just press mouse3. This is so that if I'm in a bad position and near to hear what's going on around me I can just push the button and if anyone talks I won't hear them, I can still hear my surroundings...

I've tried voice_enable 1/0 but once you'd turned it off you need to exit the game to turn it back on...

So then I tried this:

Which does work fine enough. The only trouble is that if someone is talking whilst you push mouse3 the settings wont come into effect for that person until he stops transmitting... so if I need to shut someone up quickly because he's talking whilst I'm trying to listen I wont be able to...

Any ideas? Maybe there's a command to mute everyone in the server or something?

There was another post about this, just search a little.
It had to do with doing toggleeditps in console and then u could mute someone with the scoreboard
