that old pic had to be reworked because of the way the room is laid out now. Before, it was just two levels...the entrance and exit level, and the 'pit' in the middle.
The style went along with the boring layout. Also, I don't like the gren style and it wouldn't fit into Hera anymore. As you may have noticed, I'm enforcing the pink wall look as much as possible, and trying to eliminate the green walls...

I'm still trying to think of where I could have the resource node. I don't want it in the way of any corridors or seeming out of place, but then I don't want to have a side-room to incorporate it. Main changes, I've added some 'cover' to the main entrance to the room and the side-entrance (to warehouse)
You can also get a glimpse of the 'new' looking corridor at the far end on the bottom level.
It's just a point light in front of the fan/light. There's also a large faint sprite there which 'lights up' the surrounding area. (notice the cut-off line on the ceiling where the sprite goes through it?)

Tho mayeb thsoe lighttexturesi n the first shot, they don't seem to be giving off orange lighting d:/
How do you get the luminance in the second shot (with the fan)? Is the fan a texlight?
The effect looks very good!
I just didn't realize how well a sprite would sell that lighting. Nifty!
I wasn't sure if it was a texlight, but that sprite makes it hard to spot the tell-tale light concentration of a pointlight.
Love the appearence of the fan...
