How Do You Make Holograms?

<div class="IPBDescription">like in bast and hera..</div> In two level, bast and hera, theres holorgrams. In hera, the hologram is in the holoroom. In bast it is in the ready room. Well bast isnt really a hologram, but the one in hera is. How did they make that one? I would like to make one but i dont know how. I have milkshape, but i have no idea how to use it. Can someone tell me how to make a hologram like in Hera's Holoroom?

I'm pretty sure Bast's rr hologram is a texture. To make a simple texture hologram on the wall, like the planet Hera logo, put the texture on a func_illusionary with all the other sides textured NULL, and set the render mode to additive, FX 255 and render type 'Distort'. This will make it fullbright and glowing, and also flickering too.
The Hera hologram is a model. This is also set to the additive 255 +distort render type.

Hera, I thought would be a model for the base, and world brushes for the rest of it (big light, sphere, computer offline thing).
