What is the command to decrease voice comm volume? Not game volume, just voice comm volume. I already tried 'volume' but that is for game volume. It gets irritating listening to everyone talking real loud. And no I do not want to turn off voice comm.
Cool beans! I'll give that a shot. Thanx man.

Well I did try it out and it did seem to lower the voice comm volume but it didnt to it very effectively. I had voice_scale set at 1, now I have it at .25 and while it is quieter it doesnt seem much quieter. Ill continue messing with it. Sooner or later I should find the right balance.

got this off of voice stuff
voice_overdrive x
This command seems to quieten the OTHER sounds (shooting, etc) by x much when someone's speaking. If its about 4 or 5, the other sounds completely shut down and you can't even hear shooting, when someone's talking. It does smoothly fade in and out though. Use this if you want the other sounds to quieten down a little when someone talking. I suggest leaving it at 1 or 2. Setting it to zero shuts off all other sounds too, but setting it to a number less than one AMPLIFIES the other sounds slightly.
