Sv_cheats 1 Crashing Server

Whenever I put sv_cheats 1 on my server crashes. I get a kernal.dll error. I thought this was because of my map causing the error then I tried a map I had used sv_cheats 1 on before and it crashed when I turned sv_cheats 1 on in the game. sv_cheats 1 works fine when im in the ready room but when I join a team or turn it on when im on a team it crashes hl. My friends say they can use sv_cheats 1 when they are in the game but it won't work for me. How can I fix this?

I would seriously love to know how in anyway that could help. But thanks anyway of at least posting a reply. And no it doesn't work.

FIrst of all, you might want to tell us what system you're running. NS doesn't work well with some OSes, or even just some different builds of linux.

Second, it might be a faulty file in your hard drive, possibly corrupted by a different crash. The simplest way to fix it is to reinstall all the basic game files, but you might just be able to figure out if it's a specific file and replace it. In my case, I've had crazy crashes from a flawed divice driver that drove me crazy for a long time, and I didn't find it except by accident. It was my mouse crashing NS (and warcraft), of all things.

No need, fixed problem. Some bot crap happened. I just noticed my liblist.gam had rcbot on it and I had the oldest version of ns 1.0 on my computer after I reinstalled ns from bot error's. Rcbot isn't good for anything except crashing computers. It works but you have to have 1.03 and it doesnt work for 1.04 or 1.0
