Surround Sound

<div class="IPBDescription">What modes does NS, (well HL) support?</div> I understand this is more of a HL question than NS, but what modes of surround sound does it support? I don't have any kind of 3d sound hardware, so is there a software solution for positional audio? Also, I have coax digital out, so is there Dolby Digital support?

    There's 5.1 support if you have a creative sound card. Just activate EAX

    A3D is for Aureal cards and it's GREAT with headphones, for me it's better than EAX for surround sound but it doesn't have all these cool room effects.
