i can't draw...
alright i am not an artist at all:( but here goes: I have started a ns map called ns_disaster, and since i was still making the plan for it, i decided to make the ready room. I have a little experience from Firearms mapmaking, but my RR looks soooooo boring I have it pretty big, and there is a lot of unsued space i'm going to get rid of, but heres the gist of it. In the upper floor, i have 2 teleporter things, which are random team and spectator. then, down a ladder is the aliens one, which has a scum texture hanging down over it with a green glow behind, kind of like in that otehr lv, ns_somethingorother where the aliesn fall downa hole past scum to get in. Than the marines has some lasers going down past the door which yo must walk through to becoem marine. There is a lot of unused space here too. also there is in the middle of the room a glass box, with impisoned light and some computers on the wall and some 3dish ones standing round.

All in all it still looks pretty boring. i tried to spiff it up by putting in some dripping pipes, and i can handle the dripping part, but i am no artist and don't know hte best way to make simple pipes taht go along than curve up to the ceiling so please help me for the sake of the poor getting

i know many people will find this immoral but,
(you gotta love a post that starts like that)
get a decompiler find a map that you love some part of it and look at how they did your favorite part. it helps to see how someone else does itit is in my opionon the best way to lok at some ones map/ mebe i should start a thread..
now after that
----------------
curved pipes are pretty simple
essentially they are slcices of other stright pipes put next to each other i suggest the shear tool adn teh clip thing though im not sure thats what its called
if thats un clear folow my first sugestion, but then you are evil!!
