Hl Cd Key In Use...

I've browsed through the tech support to see if anyone has encountered this problem but I haven't seen anything posted on this:

When I connect to a server through ASE, or the normal HL browser, I connect but then am immediately kicked and told that my "Half-Life CD key is already in use"

I have tried to connect to random servers, with no one in them, but the difficulty seems to persist.

Also: I was successful connecting this morning to NS servers (EasternST), and had no difficulty only a few hours ago.

Any help is appriciated, thanks.

    This may be due to the WON.net problems that have been happening intermittently over the past couple days. Give it a few hours and try again.

    I've had this problem quite a bit as well. I know WON.net has been having connectivity problems over at least the past 24 hours, so I think this is related. I imagine it will clear up soon.
