i realy dont know.. i just converted my 1024 bmp in a tga an send it...... i have seen no were the size of those .tga's

you gotta put your res to 1024 , take a shot and pass the bmp to tga.

I did.. I just thought 2.1 Mb sounded kinda large but I guess it's fine.
