    Cool, I want to get this but...

    I never actually found this out, does file consistancy check the sounds as well?

    No. It does not, thankfully, or all my custom high-pitched screams in CS that add that hint of inanity wouldn't work because their almost a meg each. *loves sound editing*

    Thank god.

    I like the voices in game for NS, but I'd rather have a bit of change once and awhile ;D

    Actually, the conistency check does check for sounds.

    Aye, found it out the hard way <!--emo&???--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/confused.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='confused.gif'><!--endemo-->

    Lame eh? I can't imagine why they'd lock the sounds. I mean, the worst you could do is turn up the footstep sounds, and they aren't even hard to hear as is.

    i turned down the hive whatever-ugly-noise-and-annoying-sound-it-is (like some screaming but in some kind of goo that your trying to pick up with your fingers or something)

    Maybe i'd think of turning up skulk footsteps <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo--> But that might be cheating :/

    Thanks for caring to assemble the pack for version2. I've always supported your sound packs and sprites for DoD :]

    So will this work? Or will the file consistency check not let you use it?

    Learn to READ the first few posts before asking a question alreayd answered.

    Thanks for the rudeness, but I DID read the first few posts. I read the entire thread. But the fact that it CHECKs for file consistency doesn't necessarily mean it ENFORCES file consistency. I'm not a file consistency genius and I don't know, thus I ask. You don't have to be an **** about it.\

    If anyone NICE feels like clarifying, I'll ask again: Will these sounds work for NS or will the file consistency check prohibit the usage of this?

    They will work perfectly on servers not enforcing file consistency!

    If the server has consistancy on, it enforcess the sounds.

    If a server is too lame to enforce file consistency, they don't deserve a taste of my "elite"-ness! Great sound pack, way better than that other guy's (it doesn't even replace the defaults!)...
