Ready Room

Confused

i was thinking about doing my ready room using models instead of the text

there would be a hall with a marine standing in it for the marines
a fade for the aliens
maybe a glowing question mark for random
and a eye or something for teh observers

or if not as i suggested above what should i use instead?

How much lag would it add? Can't be that much since that room is only 'seen' for the first couple of minutes and that's it.
