<div class="IPBDescription">Does anyone know how i would get NSTR?</div> Hi there,
Does anyone know where i could download NSTR? I would like to use it for testing my maps with the functions easier to access, like buildminimap.
And especially the 'stupid' bot.
Could someone please post the URL here or PM me with details on how to get it?
Thanks

I've found this to be a great tool for tweaking you particle effects.
Asraniel & Kilmster:
The only reason I knew where to find it was because someone helped me a few days ago when another mapper and I asked the same question. NOw I'm giving back to someone else. That's the way this stuff works. Instead of telling a guy that it's outdated or the 1.0 will "work just fine", try to help someone when they ask for something. If you know an answer, don't hold out and if you don't know the answer, don't bother posting.

buildminimap will only work in developer mode (or sv_cheats 1, not sure) in NS 1.0
The reason I corrected you was pretty clear:
<!--QuoteBegin--></span><table border='0' align='center' width='95%' cellpadding='3' cellspacing='1'><tr><td><b>QUOTE</b> </td></tr><tr><td id='QUOTE'><!--QuoteEBegin-->I gave an honest opinion.<!--QuoteEnd--></td></tr></table><span class='postcolor'><!--QuoteEEnd-->
You sure did, but he didn't ask for an opinion, now did he? He asked for a URL. My suggestion to you is that if some requests a resouce, give them what they ask for and let them decide for themselves the value of that resource.
As a matter of fact, if your not a mapper, why are you replying to help questions in the mapping section anyway? I think it may have something to do with the fact that you joined these forum a mere 11 days before I, and yet you have over 800 posts, whilst I have less than 100. I wonder how many of those 800+ posts were one line opinions. Maybe you should focus on quality over quantity. Oh, but that wouldn't make you a 'Evil Overload' any faster, would it?
As for the "positive difference in functionality" that you asked about. My opinion would be that having grphical slide bars that allow you to change the settings of a particle system, while your looking at it within the HL engine, versus having to tweak the particle system in your editor and then recompile the map just to see what effect the change has made, is a huge advantage. Not to mention the NSTR bot won't jump into the com chair and start buildig at random, but thats really just an annoyance.

Thanks for the URL
