<div class="IPBDescription">Fixed versions of ns_hera and ns_nancy..</div> Everyone know problems with Hera and Nancy (can build outside map)...
(!edit! Now here is fixes for Bast feedwater furnace build bug and Tanith outside map build bug too! !edit!)

Well, here is fixed .bsp files. Just duplicated and moved some brush entities and made theim "func_nobuild"s.

<a href='http://hullu.xtragaming.com/files/ns_hera-outside-platform-bug-fixed.zip' target='_blank'>http://hullu.xtragaming.com/files/ns_hera-...m-bug-fixed.zip</a> (2.2M)
<a href='http://hullu.xtragaming.com/files/ns_nancy-space-bug-fixed.zip' target='_blank'>http://hullu.xtragaming.com/files/ns_nancy...e-bug-fixed.zip</a> (2.1M)
<a href='http://hullu.xtragaming.com/files/ns_bast-feedwater-furnace-bug-fixed.zip' target='_blank'>http://hullu.xtragaming.com/files/ns_bast-...e-bug-fixed.zip</a> (1.8M)
<a href='http://hullu.xtragaming.com/files/ns_tanith-near-weldable-bug-fixed.zip' target='_blank'>http://hullu.xtragaming.com/files/ns_tanit...e-bug-fixed.zip</a> (1.8M)

Here is .ent files for those who don't want to download whole maps (Only download these if you know how to use 'ripent' tool).

<a href='http://hullu.xtragaming.com/files/hera_and_nancy_outside-area-fix-ent-files.zip' target='_blank'>http://hullu.xtragaming.com/files/hera_and...x-ent-files.zip</a> (21k)
<a href='http://hullu.xtragaming.com/files/bast_and_tanith_outside-area-fix-ent-files.zip' target='_blank'>http://hullu.xtragaming.com/files/bast_and...x-ent-files.zip</a> (21k)

(BTW only server needs these changed bsps ofcourse)
(!edit! !edit! BTW these are NOT based on ripped versions! Just added entities to original maps!)

    Excellent hullu. Thanks.

Is it possible to repair the snap-to-grid problem with the double Holoroom resource points on Hera? Or is that a problem that's only correctable in the server code, not in the maps?

Nevermind. I finally got some good search results, and found this in the mapping forum:

When running these maps (which have the same name as the previous version), won't any user that connects to your server get a message to the effect of 'Your map differs from servers. Disconnected'? Unless the names are changed naturally. But if they're changed, then people will be waiting to download them.

Entity-only modification .. means that client doesn't have to copy modified version.
    Filenames are not changed.

can you plugup the furnace in ns_bast right outside feedwater?

alot of peeps have exploited that on our server and im tired of messing with it.

Ah yes, I forgot about that one. One of the more problematic map exploits, too.

Just northwestof the feed water hive ("up" on commander's map being North), there's a large engine/furnace thing. The hallway section is named "steam generator". The inside of the "generator" is hollow, and you can build structures on the inside through the wall. Once inside, said structures are nearly impervious to alien attacks, yet it's quite easy to siege the hive from there. Like the other "build outside the map" problems, but with the added problem of covering a hive.

great! tanith has one of theese "bugs" too,
at the welding point (the window against the sky) you can build a infantary portal on the other side

if you could fix this aswell, i would luuv yah :>

Hopefully 1.1 or later versions we should start to see these fixed maps in the updates, great work though Hullu <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Its gone around the forums that the source to nancy was lost in a HD crash, so maybe this version with fixed no-build areas could replace the original in 1.1?
