I This Server Command Line Okay?

thats what I have for my lan server but i cant view the server on lan :/

    hmm, make sure you are using a different computer to connect to your lan server, also make sure your firewall is allowing sharing which should never be a problem, and make sure that the ips are equal to each other on both computers because it sounds like the two computers and not seeing each other. By equal ips I mean like 192.123.22.15 and another computer is set to 192.123.22.16, check all that stuff.

    If that fails, you could start an "Internet game" and add the LAN server manually. Worked for me <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

    as an fyi, you dont need the:
    +exec server.cfg

    as the server executes it automatically. The time when you would need it is when you run multiple servers off one copy of half-life and have multiple server.cfg's

    During this instance, you would use the <u>+servercfgfile </u>command

    The +exec command is used, say in case you have an additional file with server variables. The server.cfg will also be executed, so thats where the other command comes in <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
