<div class="IPBDescription">commanding, DONT BLAME ME!</div> ok guys i wanna know how many ppl actualy listen to the commander ? ? . everytime i command i do really good because i can basically get around 2 hives in the first 5-10 mins and a 3rd on the way, BUT as soon as 1 hive is getting attacked NOONE LISTNS and phases threw to help it, all they do is stack up on ammo then by the time they phase threw the phase on other side dies and then they blame me for losing the game... is it something with me or are ppl just really stupid...

The issue of having people who cannot think as teammates occurs frequently.

Not really hard to understand really......its the bane of commanders really.And peoplee are really stupid.You would be surprised how stupid.

I find it funny how commanders are expected to bribe the marines to get them to obey orders.LMFAO they should join the army and try that excuse.....biggest shock of their life i bet.
ok first of all do you use voicecomm? because if you dont, then dont ever expect to be a "great" commander in a pub. in ns, time is extemely valuable. and if you send marines on assinine orders, they will eventually rebel. not trying to be mean, but getting 2 hives in 5 minutes does not entail having JUST a phase gate in a hive. that doesnt entail "getting a hive" in 5 minutes you simply dont have the resources to defend them both yet, even if you relocated. unless you have marines on guard at each hive. but a third one on the way? i dont quite understand this. you are talking about getting a third hive in 5 minutes. this is near impossible in a pub. no offense but by the points you have made, i believe people dont listen to you because you dont quite know what you are doing. trying to take all 3 hives in 5 minutes is just IDIOTIC. i can see taking their hive by rushing it, but defending 2 hives in 5 minutes while taking their last hive? and you wonder why they dont listen?

yeah same here, if he knows what to do then ill listen, if he thinks he knows what to do but actually doesnt know it, then I just **** the comm and go have fun till the next round (since voting him out doesnt work, I dont know why but it just doesnt work on mnost of the servers ive played on)
I have found that those 1-2 guys who wonder out on thier own end up getting killed allot and don't ever get support from me.
Perhaps it is also due to the fact that I equip my marines based on thier performance (basically those who follow orders and do well working as a team get equiped first, those who don't get what is left over).
It also helps to not have the voice of a 9 year old sucking on helium.
Even when i'm not commanding I always listen to the commander unless like previously stated he is a moron. Most morons don't want to bother commanding anyhow.
On a side note, good commanding IMHO is also listening to and trying the ideas of the marines. They can see and hear things you often can't. Just keep that in mind.
first off at the start of the game i dont build anything exept 2 portals(1 hiddin somewhere) a phase gate + a observitory ( 1 marine stay @ base ). then i get 1-2 marines to bother the alian hive by shooting at it and running around shooting skulks as they spawn. while those 2 marines are having fun, i get 3 other marines to rush to 1 hive and build my TF, the a turret, the my phase gate, then 1 out of the 3 go to the other hive and build a phase, then the 2 others phase threw and help secure the secdon hive.. while those 2 guys are still @ there main hive having some fun ( if they die they either run back or i find a nice spot for a phase near the hive) i will have enough res for some more turrets to secure the other hives, once they are fully secure, i get ALL exept 1 marine that is @ the base to run to there main hive and have fun, while im upgrading for HA, and HMG, then basically i just wait till i have about 100 res, then just spam HA and HMG on the floor and tell the marines to suicide so i can do that quick spawn thingy with the observitory, then they just rape there hive wif da hmg, if all failes i relocate to 1 of the other hives that i secured. i know it sounds kinda unfair with HA + HMG vs skulks, but then again FADES VS MARINES with notihng is unfair also!.. lol.. well i hope u understand me this time. and YES this strat of mine has worked a couple of times when everyone i mean EVERYONE LISTENS!...
maybe when people start listening we will have maybe 40% marine wins on public servers!

Well if your not using a mic then even I won't follow your orders, it just doesn't work well on pubs. So thats the first thing you need to do, second, in your descripition it sound like at times you might be stretching yourself a little thin at times and I hate when a comm grabs more then he can handle, it leads to a very quick game with the aliens winning and its no fun for the marines. But that second part is just my personal feelings, but you really do need to get a mic.
Don't wanna go around flaming people, but yeah. If you don't build PGs in pub games, you will find yourself sitting in the garbage bin without pants and with your underwear scretched over your head pretty quick. I've tried. PGs are like Number One in your buildlist when you go command.
If your not a llama and play on pubs with your clan on the same team slaughtering noobs that is...
i said in that thingy up the top, they got hmg + ha ..... and lv 2 weapons, and lv2 armor, if they dont **** me off then they dont get ****, but if they are not <b>(watch your language, thanks)</b>, then they get lv3wep and armor.
