why is it that i can't play lan games in NS?
as with every HL mod, i usually start up an empty lan game and explore the maps before i really start to play when im new.
but with NS, i am unable to. it just shows a list of the original HL multiplayer maps. is this normal, or do i have a problem?

There is an easy way around this (2 actually, but this gets the desktop icon working)
Right click the icon, and select properties. Where it says "Start in:", put "C:\Sierra\Half-life"* in the box next to it.
*Or whereever you have installed HL/NS
it worked like a charm.
