Map Not Found On Server?
Hi Again,

I'm trying to test my map now and for some reason it says 'load failed - file <insertname> was not found on server'. I don't understand this because I go from Valve Hammer test feature.

Any ideas on this?
:-/ Thanx.

Be absolutely sure that worldcraft is placing the .bsp into ns/maps. Do a search for your file and manually place it if it isn't.

It looks like you're just copying one file onto itself, so I figured this suggestion would be at least worth trying:

Try setting Hammer so your "RMF Directory" (Tools > Options > Game Configuration) is somewhere other than "ns/maps/". For example, mine is set as "D:\Games\Hammer\maps". During the compile, it'll copy the file to the appropriate directory.

It might not make any difference, but like I said, it's probably worth a shot.

My problem is fixed now. A good mapper, d$k, helped me out. He told me to get the two .dll files in the red text from this thread http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/in...=ST&f=4&t=21248.

Once I rebooted the problem was fixed. Thanx for the help.
