Hmm I Cant Seem To Get Voice Comm Working.

Went ingame,hit "C" and started speaking into the mic....or tried to.

No sound came out of the speakers of me speaking.

I asked people if they heard me.They all said "no".

Whats worng with it?

    You may have already done this, but be sure to bind voicechat to 'c', or some other key. It is not bound by default. Personally, I use both mouse3 and v (mouse3 doesn't work when you are in the command chair).

    There are two ways to do it. You can bind the key in the console

    bind x "+voicerecord"

    or go to your key configuration screen and change it there.

    what sound card and does it support 4 speaker/6 speakers?
    some cards change the function of the mic in socket when they are set to use different speaker combos
    my card defaults to 6 speakers when ever i update my driver and i suddenly find my mic doesnt work <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->
