I have been haveing problems sighting sieges. Will a siege hit anything you can see thats within its range, OR do you have to be with a certain range of what your looking at to sight it?

im not entirely sure about this myself, but i think it has something to do with having to see the base of the target....

There is of course a much easier way to seige things - its called Scanner Sweep <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo--> cheaper than refitting an entire squad of marines every 10 seconds

The siege will only fire if a marine if looking directly at the target.

He must not be miles away, thou he can be out of the firing range of OCs sometimes.

Also the marines has to see a far bit of the building, not just the tip of it.

As far as I know, if the Commander can see the target then the siege cannon can.
