don't know if anyone's mentioned this before, but here i go anyway...
while waiting for people to join the server, i decided i'd switch on cheats to pass the time. i spawn 3 hives and go gorge, get 3 movements up and start playing with babblers.
i discovered the weirdest thing: while you're moving backwards, aim slightly down (EVER so slightly, about 20-40 degrees down from center) and shoot off some babblers. they will SINK into the floor! not only that, they'll still go off and do damage!
now, you can also do this while strafing left/right. however, walking forward will likely get you stuck in your babblers. i mentioned that you should only shoot at about 20-40 degrees down from center--the reason being that if you shoot babblers any lower, you will get stuck in them (until they sink into the floor).
try it out. it's the funniest thing ever. can't wait to see the marine reactions when babbler mines start going off all over their base.
