I want to know how you are going to avoid getting chomped by a skulk when you dont have infinite jet fuel in 1.1.Hint : DONT LET THEM GET THE RES.Another hint : Tried blocking corridors by stacking Ocs on each other? In areas like ns_nothing,works extradionarily well.

The reason for onos being seen very rarely is because fades usually kill off the marines before they can get 3rd hive.So then you would have to reduce fade power to enable the marines to survive longer so aliens would get fades.......very complicated process there.

Stop a current 1.04 decent comm getting JP's?

    Doesn't happen. It's incredibly easy.

Lev 1 armour, JP's, tech weaps like crazy. Win.

Or HMG, depending on your rez income.

I would like to put my 2 cents in here. My commander told me and just me to go outside of waste handling on tanith and cap a res node. Then a few minutes later he told me to rush back to back. We had a prototype lab and jet packs were spawning everywhere. He didn't bother with hmgs. He didn't bother with guarding the res towers.

"Fill up your LMGS and group rush sat com NOW!"

The aliens didn't have a chance. There was no way any of them could have gone lerk in the time it took for us to research jet packs and charge their hive. I don't know how many res nodes we capped, I'm positive I wasn't the only one capping res nodes.

I will say that if the aliens had attacked us at base quickly in the beginning they would have had a good chance at stopping us, but with the whole "SKULK RUSH! No, don't skulk rush!" debate, everyone on pubs is confused heh. (My vote is skulk camp outside base and surveillance)

Also it depends on the map. Some hives are much more suseptible to jp rushes than others.

But I think both sides have ways of crushing an unwary enemy quickly, but jet packs are kind of a special case because just one jetpacker could have caused those aliens at satcom a lot of trouble. It takes about 2-3 fully packed lmgs to kill a hive. Without a lerk theres not much the aliens could do but wait for the jetpacker to make a mistake.

But like Flayra said, it's being fixed.
