Pop Up Killer That Works?

<div class="IPBDescription">damn you "adserver"</div> Ok, i have a pop up killer prog that shuts down the pop ups when they "pop up", but that's the problem, when playing i suddenly get a pop-up appear which min's my NS game. The pop up killer shuts the pop-up down fine, but when i max the half-life window again i lose all sound in NS. i've tried hitting esc and "resume game" but that doesn't work.... anyone know a pop up killer prog that stops them appearing at all? :'(

The former is for a program called ad-aware. Download it. Scan your computer and remove your adware, spyware or harmful cookies.

Latter is for a prog I use called "Pop up killer". Original, eh? Works for me.

dude run Ad Aware you shouldnt get pop ups for no reason.

Omg, u run a program 2 remove popups and ads? just re-route every adserver to your local host in ur lmhost file and adjust your IE security settings.........no popups.....no ads for me

But, what he was saying is.. oooo, this: <a href='http://www.proxomitron.org' target='_blank'>http://www.proxomitron.org</a> . It runs as a proxy on your local machine, stopping <b>all</b> ads. It can be totally customized on what to block, from just poups to stopping all animated GIFS and removing all banners on websites. It's a beast, and I love it!
