<div class="IPBDescription">...a station in the icy deserts of Hoth</div> I decided to make a second map for NS, but this time I won´t do the mistakes i did with ns_greian a second time. Thats why I made an layout and posted it here. It will play on a station on Hoth, which is a very icy and cold planet. The aliens infested the warm parts of the station like a scrap burning hall, generator room and of course sewer <!--emo&;)--><img src='http://www.natural-selection.org/forums/html/emoticons/wink.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='wink.gif'><!--endemo-->
The marines start at the entrance, where you can find a big gate.

    Looks ok to me, one thing though, I don't know what scale you're working to, but it looks a little small, also, that long corridor I highlighted might give you a few r-speed issues..

    Elvis: This is very common what you have pointed out, just remember people put elevators doors, ladders stairs and many vis blockers in areas to make maps more interesting. It is likely that if he puts something like an elevator leading up to another level half way through the corridor he will have perfectly fine r_speeds. If some areas of ns_nothing didn't have ladders r_speeds could go trhough the roof.

    Yeah, I know, it's just there are no indications of height changes etc on his layout in that area..

    Also, I thought doors didn't block visibility? Could be wrong mind.

    Entities (including openable doors) do not block VIS and Vis blocking is essential for low r_speeds.

    It doesn´t help the r_speeds but it makes the live for skulks a lot easier!
