rapid taunting?
I've seen many a game where people are aliens and do the chuckle thing continuously and rapidly. I'm pretty sure this can only be achieved if you bind the thing to a key--although i do not know how. I DO know how to bind, but i do not know the command. This would help psych out an opponent with the chuckling or quickly taunting someone u just killed without using the popup menu. The comman for the taunt in marines might be helpful too. Any help is appreciated.

Marine Taunt- bind "<key>" "impulse 7"
I'm 90% sure, on those, although I might have them switched around.
You've got them wrong way around. Alien chuckle is impulse 7, marine taunt is impulse 9. Well, that's what my config files say anyway
As a marine, you will NOT get that skulk to come out of hiding by spam-taunting him. If you have motion tracking, you will benefit your team more by staying alert while continuing on with your objective. Otherwise, you are merely giving the aliens a chance to swarm your position.
As a skulk, spamming chuckle will not divert the enemy from their task. A smart marine will a) travel in a group and b) get that structure built while trusting his buddies to save his bacon. You're better off remaining silent and parasiting as many marines - and the structure being built - as you can before they find you.
One note still, if you use 7 as marines and 9 as aliens you'd find yourself with other sounds. I believe it's Im building here for Kharaa and Need Backup as Marines, but Im not sure AT ALL
This is SO not true, an opponent would hear you and simply prepare to shoot your biddy liddle 455 off
Yeah thats what they say to me; 10 minutes later: "OMG STOP SPAMMING CHUCKLE" while the whole team is camping my vent trying in vain to shoot me. Mission accomplished!
w00t!
erm sorry.............
if i hear a marine taunting, i just get ready to parasite him and hunt him down...
as an alien, (it has been mentioned b4) one of the most effective things you can do to distract lots of marines is to hide in a vent and chuckle, and maybe poke your head ot a few times to entice them further (make sure you have regen though...)
not to mention the psychological DAMAGE it does to marines that are sitting around defending stuff.
Thats the problem with vote-kick. It takes BOTH teams to vote someone off when usually they are only doing something that affects their own team. Most votes usually lose because everyone on same team will vote to kick, while only a few people on the other team will vote to kick because they dont really know whats going on.
