People That Played On Fogies Server Just Now

... or 4 am pacific time...
Okay, aliens... AWESOME work, I guess. When I joined, the cargo bay hive in Nothing was being killed (start hive) and the two others had just started going up. I don't know what happened but we won that game 10-15 minutes later. Don't know how. At one point it was 6 or more marines vs 2 gorges and a skulk. That was an odd win. Okay. Pure luck.

Next game, I go alien as usual. Marines had at least two more people on their team for the majority of the game(until the end), but I just racked up the kills. (Until I got cocky, then one particularily "just useless" marine put me in my place a few times.) Marines put up a good fight, but I was in the "groove", so to speak. (When will marines, in general, learn to just shoot hives and res towers? Knifing just means a free kill for us! Should go for the kill ASAP!) Anyway, at the end of the game, we all went gorge to finish them off. I took a couple screenshots for you guys (they wouldn't line up though!) and tried to record a demo of 6 gorges bouncing (our entire team) bouncing around, but it crashed halflife and it couldn't reconnect! (Needs my comp to reboot... not happening in the middle of a map compile though!) So anyway, guys, here's the best screenshot I got. It was a fun game! Always did like that old fogie server!

I must say it sounds like massive team-stacking(skillwise of course), more than anything else :/
Or did the server have any plugins? That affected gameplay, anyway.

No... I was just doing good. Like I say, marines out numbered us by at least two most of the time. I just got on a roll myself. I didn't hear any complaints of "n00b comm" or anything and the marines seemed okay for most of it. I dunno. I think we just played good and/or got lucky! I dunno, if seen an entire team of gorges rush into my base I'd be sitting and LMAO until they spray killed me!

[edit]Skillwise we may have out numbered them. It's very difficult to judge. I'm a good skulk, but when they did hit, they hit good. I know I'd have been absolutely useless as a marine. I always am. Eh, you had to be there I guess. [/edit]

Res nodes have 3000 hp... shooting them takes almost as long as knifing them, and uses up all of your ammo. If you're watching for the skulks, you can generally see them, stop knifing and get your gun out, and you'll have a full clip ready for them.

That's the theory, but I eat so many marines that way. Res is one thing though. When you going after a hive, you kill it as fast as you can. Dilly dallying isn't good.

Shotgun = Ultimite res node killer, jump into the balloon thing, crouch and fire down, really fast kills.
