Omfg!
<div class="IPBDescription">Star wars episode ii</div>That movie literally ruled!
offcourse it wasn't as good as the original star wars movies but none of the new ones can get that good. I have to say tho, that this one was about as good as you could get it.
and in this movie you could really see the paralelles between the original star wars movies and the new ones, it was a GREAT experience and the end part with yoda... I mean, OH MAN! THAT WAS FRGGIN AMAZING!
GO SEE IT NOW! ARGH!

I think its a big improvement over Episode 1, even though most of the movie is pretty slow and dull.
All worth it to see Yoda KICK ### though.
Damn man, Episode 3 should just be Yoda going postal for 180 minutes. I'd watch that more than once, and buy the DVD afterwards.
People are too critical of this movie. The biggest two complaints I've heard are (1) it's long and slow, and (2) the dialogue is terrible.
(1) There is HUGE development here. Palpatine makes his big move and creates the stormtrooper army and Star Destroyer Armada. It's revealed to the Jedi Council that "The Senate is under the control of a Sith Lord." Anakin begins his fall... Anakin and Amidala, sure they're about to die, admit their love. The Jedi are *decimated*. There's a whole lot of "action" going on - it's just subtle for once. If you remember, the first three movies weren't about action!
(2) The dialogue in 4-6 was *just* as bad. I don't know if you remember, but Luke is a whiny little #####! You don't know how many times I wanted to smack him. The dialogue in 2 is *just* as good as that in 4-6.
I, for one, think this movie is on par with the originals. Given time, it will gain nearly as much (not *as* much, because the originals are too canonized to ever be equaled).
Personally, I can't wait to see what happens in 3... Think of everything that changes between 2 and 4!!!
This pretty much sums up everything I thought about Episode 2:

True film buffs will also really find the latter part amusing. I found the Michael Bay and David Lynch 'alternate direction' notes to be especially funny.
I pretty much agree to the above article 100%.
I personally loved episode II. I love the story, and I would say that it was extremely well done, if not a little slow and "mushy" in some parts. But that was needed, to get the viewers to actually realize Anakin's character.

The Usual Suspects anyone?
