Sidewinder Game Voice...

and Half-Life Voice Chat...
Well, i'll start off with the reason why i'm doing this... I broke my finger back in November and those damned doctors finally got around to fixing it a few days ago. For ONE finger, they (the doctor(s)) decided that it was nessacry to wrap my entire hand in a cast leaving me with a working thumb, with all my other fingers immoblized. Now, I still want to play my favorite game, Natural-Selection, and I figured that I could still command with one hand. So intrigued with this idea I decided to make a bunch of voice commands for my SideWinder game voice thingy, to ease the amount of work i had to do, and i did quite successfully. I loaded up NS and tested out them out and they worked, so I jumped into the first pub i could find and as luck would have it, I was able to comm. I started building everything up and gave my marines some orders over the voice comm, and low and behold, they didn't do anything, just sat there. Confused, I started yelling over the voice comm and nothing was happening; no snide remarks or defences as for why they weren't follow my orders. I was about to start yelling at the again when i noticed, that the voicereccord icon was showing up on my HUD. So I looked into the console, and the button I had bound for voicerecord was in fact the one I was hitting.
so
Question
-Does the SideWinder Game Voice negate or somehow screw up the HL voicerecord ?
-If yes, is there something that I could do to obtain harmony between SWGV and HL to make them work together?
Thanks

and SideWinder key aren't set to the same key.
I had conflickt issues with mouse3 in Roger Wilco
and my voice comm key in NS (which was also mouse3)
That's all I can think of :-/
