Helleu.
I'm having some difficulties with my soundcard and Natural Selection. (SB Audigy) When i'm playing, i keep having these random static, highfrequent buzzez all the time.
A real irritating problem. I havent tried updating my soundcard drivers, because ns is the only game where i'm having these problems.
So i was wondering, does anybody know of a patch which excludes this problem?
For all i could know, its maybe just a simple command in console?
Love,
Emil. <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

Have you a VIA chipset mobo? KT133, KT266, KT333? They are renowned for a PCI bug that can make some scratchiness in the sound of a Live or Audigy. Get VIA's 4-in-1 drivers latest version from their site. Use latest drivers for the audigy (They were released around december last year). Try and make sure your sound card is not sharing IRQ's with any other cards. If you are using some sort of CPU Idling program, turn it off. Have you a slow computer?
