Situation: Our whole team is fades. Two hives up on eclipse. Just cleared Maintenance. I immediately degenerate to gorge when the turret factory goes down. I get up to about 40 res and another guy degenerates from fade to gorge (30 seconds after I did). He says, "I went gorge to build the hive for you." This mindset of thinking is beyond me. Yet another guy degenerates into a gorge (30 seconds after the other guy). Then a fade falls to his death in maintenance. Then Mr. "I'll build the hive for you" doesn't build the hive. A marine runs in and slaughters me when I had about 72 res ( tried webbing.....but earlier gorges had wasted all the webs by just shooting them on the floor after marines already had jetpacks).
Sometimes I think my teammates are really just scripted bots with their artificial intelligence set on "clownlike".
Die.

We had one gorge building large defenses and me just buidlding resouce towers and acting as webbing battle gorge.
Because I was just webbing for long time i got my 100 res capped even if the team res as lower than it should be.
We just got the 3rd hive cleared with a small group of fades (heared via voice) and i heared them discussing "ill gorge, give me res"
I was "humping" to the 3rd hive (was busy defending another hive) saying: "NO dont, i am a capped gorge , 100 res, im coming" serveral times.
It did not stop one if them going gorge while I entered the room to build the hive and make the team laughting.
I left the server at that point. 8 marines cant kill 5-6 skulks in a rush, as if we're gonna win yeah right.....
becuase some of you can`t be arsed reading longish posts i`ll cut my story real short.
at aux command (siege port from here) 6 mins with 2 other marines shouting and blasting requests for a pg, tf.
heavys were pushing on no name, comm took them back, we got bored at aux command and finally got noticed by skulks. thats when commander says follow your way points and get to aux command!
i was freaking yelling at the comm that he was so stupid he didn`t even do anything! god damn itt!!! fcuk!
finally, we eject comm and heavys get to aux command JUST, we gert some turts and siege.
new commander decides not to scan the hives. 3 mins pass and our main base is RUSHED by skulks and we loose.
Smack them and continue on, soldier.
We had a bad start (could be because of the comm that just left) so i tried my best to replace him.
We just had one hive and main base and just one res in main. res outside hive was controlled by aliens.
Yay we even lost the res in main base regulary.
Luckily we fought against really dumb fades. I saw one fade after another diing like skulks. was really funny for all marines.
We tried some secret outposts from the res reserve (red room and such) but it all failed.
So we played on upgrades and the stupidity of the coming fades. They died and died.
This game goes on for 20 minutes. Marines with no real chance fought agains the most suiciding fades ever.
So everyone should know we can make it.
Sadly they finally managed to kill to much marines at once, main base was weak.
3 marines alive told me to relocate for savety. I build a CC in the hive hardly triing to save the main base.
They finally killed everything in the main base but my own CC.
I hit "Tab" to see how many marines are alive.
Meanwhile I and my comm chair died.
Then i noticed something and Typed...
Me "Oops i forgot..."
Me "an important detail"
Teammate "drop ip!"
Me "I forgot to place IPs"
Other one via voice "Yeah Infanty Portals is a REALLY IMPORTANT detail"
Me "what a shame, build ip asap!"
my whole team death just saw how the last guy alive in the hive joined the comm chair, dropped an ip and tried to build it while 3 fades were near.
Its not that I did not have the money to place it earlyer. He finally died in that killing water.
It was a funny game with a matching end.
Played an entire 1 hour game with no base protection... and noone attacked. All I had at main was two ip's and an armory.
I finally told the one guy garuding to forget it and go help the guys at the hive we secured.
The best part was that the aliens thought that we had relocated so they never tried to check our base.
Story two:
Was comming on caged. We took the shipping tunnel and put a turret up against the door (if you get it close enough it can't open at all). Anyhow, a fade gets to the other side of the door and starts shooting acid rockets at the door crack. But it obviously was not doing anything. However, I told the guys in team chat to complain about having to stay and weld the turret so the fades could not get though...
Make along story shorter.. There ended up being 3 fades for about half the game shooting through that door crack and were convinced that we were standing there welding so as to keep it from dying... Mean while we tech up and finsih map with a win.
