<div class="IPBDescription">not especially good, but different</div> I got a bit bored today so I whipped out this little replacement for the console background, I don't have a screenshot but here's a pic of what I made it from (another thing I made today, thank god for the logo and firey text from the media pack <!--emo&:p--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/tounge.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='tounge.gif'><!--endemo-->)

just throw cached.wad into your ns folder and overwrite the original to install (keep a backup in case u wanna change back)

    as I quickly found out while making it.... that couldn't be helped, the 640x480 bmp i made it with is super clear and crisp. But the engine must blur it or something.

    Hehehe, that picture actually only started out as being my desktop replacement and I later decided to put it as my console background too. I'll try to get the high resolution / high quality bmp of the uncropped version hosted out sometime today then. That one on my first post is the lowest compression setting so it loses a lot of it's quality
