try jpg but worst compression (best quality) that's what I did. I like it <!--emo&:)--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/smile.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='smile.gif'><!--endemo-->

I think blue, steelish and grey are the best colors for the tags.
