Hello guys,
first post here.
I have this problem with NS. I wanted to host a NS Lan game yesterday. I installed a dedicated server (+patch) and installed NS clients on counterstrike installations already installed on other computers (with the method posted in these forums (dummy hl.exe etc)). The game works when you create a lan game on those clients, but when i try to connect to the dedicated server, every computer displays the same error : Half life cd key invalid.
We have been playing counterstrike 1.0.0.5 (lan) on this setup without any problems (also with a dedicated server).
Does anyone have any suggestions to solve this problem?
