Lan Game Loading Problems

Whenever I start a LAN game, this loading screen appears and then it goes into the NS console like it should, but only for a second, because the multiplayer menu pops up and doesn't go away. I've found a way to bypass this by clicking escape and recreating a game and then it works. But it is really annoying and I was wondering if there was a way to fix it.

Also this problem happens to all my other mods now. Plz help me!

It's a known HL bug and will get fixed in the next HL patch. Now, just press esc then click resume game.
