<div class="IPBDescription">this is why i only play on my server</div> this was horrible. went on a server named Missile Command 24/7 NS Server with the admins being Carl and Corp. Hicks (and btw, isnt that name a little overused? i know its the guy from aliens, but ffs) who were both on marines. and, as you have guessed, the map was ns_missilecommand_final3. i got in and went gorge. built a structure, and it finished building in like 1 second by itself. then i typed that code to give you res, givepoints, and bam, i got 33 res points. i went skull to drop down and see what was shaking, and the marines had everything built. they must have had 1000 res. so i figured we were doomed and this is pretty lame, especially when marines are doing it since they already have the advantage. but i said, what the hell. i went back up, went gorge, built d, movement, sens, and 1 more hive. got more res. dropped to that middle platform right above their base and went onos. dropped down and tore them up a bit. til i ran into corp. hicks, who had GODMODE on too!!! i mean christ, if you are gonna put cheats on and not tell anyone thats one thing, but to do that and then put godmode on yourself is another. but....my team figured out the trick and started building like mad and all went onos. we ripped apart their base, but could't kill corp. hicks, cause he still had godmode on. after like 5 minutes he killed himself. in the ready room i complained that you could at least tell everyone what cheats are on and NOT use godmode cause its extremely lame. they said read the server rules. i did, it says....
1) do not cheat
2) do not be lame
hmmm....interesting. then when i joined the aliens again pigged my controls so the were messed up. i couldnt do builds but i could jump. how much fun, standing in place jumping.
now, i understand that some servers use givepoints to speed up the game and make it faster paced. which is fine. i liked the givepoints thing, it was a change of pace. but TELL EVERYONE WHAT THE COMMANDS ARE AND NOT KEEP THAT FACT A SECRET. also, dont build up and level up everything then turn godmode on so you can win. thats just lame.

i still love NS and i dont want to see lamer servers like this putting bad ideas in the heads of people.

TBH, it's totally lame to for admins to do that sort of thing, however it's also totally pointless to go post about it on the NS forums.
I know a fair few of them, like give item_ and give weapon_ , but i´d like to see the list of them all.
