New Alien Tower/s Idea

<div class="IPBDescription">I have an idea for the alien...</div> I was thinking today when I was a gorge and building, that a really kool idea would be:
- When building/Finished building the towers would start off pretty might with the opacity of about 10% and as the specific tower builds it would slowly fill up and get the opacity of 100%. The filling effect would look alot like the resource bar filling.
- When it is being attacked, it would lose it's filling and slowly lose it's opacity. This was just a idea, maybe it could be acted upon, or maybe it could just be a wacky idea, you choose ;-)

the model cant get feedback from the halflife engine without been hardcodet into ns...
the thing you need requires a status feedback of its energy/resource ..otherwise how should the tower know what happens...
this feedback must be embedet into the animations,or alpha controller, and those are not existant in the present models or engine

how? what are they modelling?
