It looks ok, and it seems works fine, but the way it moves.... and the size. For some reason it looks fake. It reminds me of fast-stop claymation with a big plastic hydra toy. The movements are a little akward as to when it makes slow body movents but flys around a running fade speeds. And the face is goofy, I must have missed that when looking down on a hundred of them from outer space.
But it's good, it's much better than the other attempts I've seen, and it acts better in game than any of the other starcraft models as well. I'll wait for the ultra onos muta lerk and drone gorg. Keep up the good work.

WOW! Is all I can say. That is friggin amazing. A few things I noticed though: 1) the skin looks a bit off. It lt looks downright secksy in that image, but the gamma makes it look all bright n shiny and iunno. Anyone know where i can get that reskin? 2) the v_lvl4claws are like toothpicks as someone already said. Hydralisks don't go on diets... 3) it's beautiful.

i'm working on fattening up the arms, and the shooty thing, but i have no idea where it shoots from, i think i'm just going to make a tube thingy like it is at the moment....
Great model, only those "ribs" (or whatever <!--emo&:D--><img src='http://www.unknownworlds.com/forums/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='biggrin.gif'><!--endemo-->) looks a bit out of place. The skin and animations are great, especially that swimming animation.
Delarosa the hydra shoots spines from the back of its neck it opens its mouth wide to shoot if that helps i suggest a reskin of the skulk teeth with the hydras arms for the acid rocket replacement
The hydralisk model scared the **** outta me last night when a friend and I was lanning.
I forgot the name of the map (nancy i think)..the one with the Mess Hall
Anyways..my friend came from the Port Engine hive and I was at the end of a hallway that has a RN (r.nozzle) on it's side..and I see him..and the hall is all red and i just see this hydra coming straights toward me..i felt like I was really in starcraft lol..my friend saw himself come down the hall too by watching my screen hehe
now it's like everytime i want to say fade..i say hyrda..or hyrdalisk...it p's me off lol oh well..great model though
hmm..the attack animation just cracks me up...because it looks funny imo
