My Console Does Not Work!

<div class="IPBDescription">look above, can you give any help com</div> My console does work in hl, cs, you name it. But NOT IN NS(which i love the most of the mods)
I know, i have tried to make at the shortcut that -console thing, or did go just typing -console or did you need to write -console 1?? Its very annoying, because if i get stuck i cant type kill. OR take off those help text's. I know that you can take them off in the setting but it doesnt work that way. I JUST NEED MY CONSOLE IN NS!!!!!! This *might* work, I have no idea. Change your config.cfg so console is 1. After that, change the file to read-me only (right click on the file, go to properties).

It might solve your problem, no idea.

EDIT: For the help texts, try "cl_autohelp 0" in the console. Btw, if you try to change your name or something that involves config.cfg, you'll need to change the file back if it's still read-me only.

After these monts it works. Thanks for help. I looked at the config and deleted the original console command line and copy-pasted it with new one, bind "`" "toggleconsole"
bind "~" "toggleconsole" from the death match classic. Thanks again, you made me realize to look at the config.
