i have been having the STRANGEST problem lately with my games. whenver i hold down shift, the computer begins to stutter REALLY bad. my fps shoots down to around 8, and it becomes simply unplayable. for HL, as soon as i move it usually goes away, but IE Diablo2 it just keeps stuttering.
what on earth could cause this? i cant duck jump somewhere because as soon as i land i lag and that means i die.
